Title: Which breed is the best my dog? Post by: iceangel_589 on March 01, 2004, 10:17: PM Hi, I have a Boston Terrier and I'm looking for a playmate for him without getting another Boston Terrier. I want a smaller dog than him unless it is a docile breed because he could get hurt and I wouldn't want that. When I leave him alone it is so sad! I wish he had a playmate is there any suggestions :?:

Good luck in your search for a playmate for your fella - he sounds lovely. Dont rule out the bigger breeds though, there are some that are incredibly graceful and gentle (such as greyhounds/whippets/lurchers, although be careful not to pick one that's too "keen"). If you're really after a small breed, what about a chihuahua, or a French Bulldog? Also, there are loads of tiny dogs in rescue that are of mixed parentage that may be really great with your fella. If you're after a pedigree, try the breed rescues for the particular breed you're after - many have lived with other dogs, and you'd be giving a dog another chance of a happy and loving home. Post by: Dogmaster411 on June 11, 2005, 07:12: PM i have a bosten terrier to!! they are so sweet. so if u wanna some one to keep him company i would go with a labrador. my bt stella is bff with a lab named zoes and they get along so well and our other friends have a bt and they bought a lab and the 2 get along so well. its like the perfect match
