It would be great if you could add a picture and short description of your dogs too :) If you have a crossbreed - what cross are they? Eg. If a cross between two hounds, select "Hound", if a cross between two or more different types of breed (say a toy x terrier for example) then select "Crossbreed". If you're not sure as to where your dog's breed comes - take a look at this site: http://www.the-kennel-club.org.uk/ Go to their Discover Dogs section, and click "Breeds". We're not 100% sure what Sky is, we think probably greyhound/whippet/collie. Badger is probably greyhound and collie or pointer (maybe both, as both are very common in Ireland where he came from), with some other things thrown in for measure! Billy is some sort of hound, possibly GSD x ridgeback or greyhound or even loads of people think Pharoah Hound x. He is the most gorgeous looking dog in the world, incredibly handsome and aspiring flyball champion. I was off work with depression and when my doctor suggested going out walking, I decided to get a dog. I've always liked staffies, brindle being my favourite colour, so when I saw this one advertised I had to go and look ! She is pure entertainment from the minute I wake up. She is exceptionally clever when it comes to learning new things. She was learning " too quickly" at dog training classes so I had to ease off a little so it wouldn't blow her mind. One example of her "cleverness" is doing recalls by herself!!! She will run on ahead, sometimes quite far, then stop. Then she races towards me and slides into a sit at my feet, looking up to say "Where's my treat then Mum?" If I ignore this, she will go off and find something to "fetch". Again, she drops it at my feet and waits expectantly ! She is such a star and I love her to bits. I'll post pics when I get some taken.

Unfortunately she developed a brain tumour and was put to sleep last month - I trust she is now playing happily at Rainbow Bridge and one day we will be together again. I have a going on senior Irish Wolfhound. He is so lovely (apart from when a particular bitch is in season). I chose a Wolfhound as a first dog for my children due to their wonderful nature. This is my third Wolfhound. I love him but he is like a third child. They really are people dogs. They love you like you are the mummy. That makes me having now 3 kids, no sorry 4 including the partner (lol). Anyway I am trying to work out my new pc so when I can get a pic in of our adorable fella I will. He was listed in the shelter as a Wolfhound mix but looks more like a Pointer mix to me and to a lot of other people. It was love at first sight and I adopted him after a trial period of 2 weeks since I lived in a flat and he was an excessive barker in the shelter. And just because I can (or can if it works) here's one of him being his odd self. Whilst he has the markings of a Border Collie he certainly doesn't resemble them in any other way. :roll: It's more like he's 3/4 Wolfhound and 1/4 Collie.

You then have a little button that allows you to add images which are already online or you can attach an image to your post that is already located on your computer. You could also create a free online gallery of your dogs at www.k9magazine.com/pictures-of-dogs if you wanted to. Hope that helps.

So if I want to do a website link - linking the word, instead of showing the whole link, I can do that with the (url) tag. So if I want to link to my review of Komondors (a safer review to link to, methinks, than the one that has been linked here LOL - and by the way, I can do a laughing smiley by using the colon and then lol - : lol : (without the spaces) - so :lol: ) without showing the whole link, I'd do it like this: (url=http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/pets-and-animals/komondor/1012733/)This is the review what I writ(/url). If I used square quotes, it would look like this: This is the review what I writ (http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/pets-and-animals/komondor/1012733/).
