Did you know that animals have energy centres also known as 'chakras' across the length of their bodies. Each chakra governs particular organs and processes within the body. Every animal also has an aura, an electrical field that surrounds every animal, and sensitive and intuitive people can sense it or see it, and can sense and see the chakras. These electrical fields are constantly changing depending on what is happening to the animal - either emotionally, physically or mentally- giving a picture of what is going on inside the body. The chakras commence at the forehead and down the length of the animals spine, up to the tail. 1. Crown chakra 2. Third eye or Brow chakra 3. Throat chakra 4. Heart chakra 5. Solar plexus chakra 6. Sacral chakra 7. Root chakra There is another important chakra called the Major Brachial chakra, positioned near the neck in the dip just above the shoulder. You can treat the whole animal by working on this chakra. The etheric body, which surrounds the animal body, is situated very closely to the physical body, and is composed of an energy matrix, it follows the same shape as the human/animal body, and is the blueprint for the human/animal body. The chakras, and etheric body can become blocked which in turn affects the life force entering and leaving the body and the particular energy centres. Dis-ease is generally seen on the body last, by that I mean, that before the dis-ease or illness manifests in the body, the energy centres, and aura will already show signs of weakness, tears, blocks or energy leaks. Western medicine spends a lot of time treating the body, healers work on the energy field and chakras, as it is here that the weakness first begins. Vibrational medicine (flower/gem/environmental essences) also work on the energy field and chakras. This chakra is where we give healing to ground an animal. Any physical problem in an animal including musculo-skeletal damage, will affect this chakra. Location: at the bottom of the back where the tail starts Keywords relating to animal: stability, grounding, acceptance, self-preservation, physical strength Colour: Red Sense: Smell Physical connection to the animal: legs, feet, intestines The Brachial Major Chakra This chakra was discovered by the animal healer Margrit Coates when she was fairly new to treating animals and horses. Location: each side of the animals neck, just above the shoulder Key words relating to the horse: relationship to mankind, instinct, healing, unity, awareness, magnetism, energy intensifies Colour: Black Sense: the instincts Physical connection to the animal: head, neck, chest forelimbs You can access the animals' whole energy field very quickly by placing your hand over his chakra. Anatomically this chakra accesses the brachial plexus of nerves, an important network innervating the head, neck, chest and forelimbs. Through this chakra you can also access all the other chakras, which is useful when treating a very nervous animal that can't be touched anywhere else. In very sensitive or worried animals, you can give healing just by contact with this area. Please feel free to comment. |
