my dog is constanting shedding far too much hair its a constant battle of cleaning up all the time. He is a beagle cross with a spaniel and im feeding him bakers complete with this oil(thats suppose to reduce moulting hair) from the pet shop and every day i brush him. Is there any else i am doing wrong or anything else that would help. He gets plenty of exercise and his diet is good, i cant be the only one who has this problem. I moved his bed into the kitchen away from the radiator but still shed loads of hair. I know it may just be the type of dog he is but any advice would be a god send, thanks in advance.

please please someone give me some advice. My dog keeps jumpin up on our new LEATHER sofa. He used to be allowered on our old one but now we have a new one there is no way i want him on it. My hubby paul only has to look at him and he jumps off but with me i think he thinks its a game and sometimes cannot catch him to get him off it and it worries me that he he gonna rip it. We have laminate floor in our living room and i know dogs dont like it but i have a little rug/mat by the door but he will not lie on there either. has anyone any ideas, thanks in advance x
7  The DogChat.co.uk Discussion Forum / Canine Health Concerns / flaky skin under coat on: January 17, 2005, 11:22: AM
bobby our 6 mth pup seems to be getting alot of flaky skin under his coat you cannot see it until i start to brush him, the more i brush the worse it is. he was getting bored of his dry food so the other week we started to put a little olive oil in it and people have said this makes dogs coats really glossy and in top condidtion which it does look and feel good but as soon as i brush him the flakes start to appear. should i take him to the vet? or can anyone give me any advice? thanks in advance, mandy.
p.s, bobby is a beagle cross.
