ok so it was alittle harsh.... but i didn't call her stupid. I said what she did was stupid. dogs like that need a yard to run in its jsut a big part of taking care of them. and i don't think it is foods or anything unless she is feeding the dog human food with high sugars and dyes.

6  The DogChat.co.uk Discussion Forum / Dog Behaviour and Training Issues / hyper puppy on: July 30, 2005, 06:52: PM
ok one of your problems is you have a very hyper breed. it was stupid of you to get such a hyper breed if you don't have a yard. you should try takeing her for a RUN not a "ROMP" cause those dog breeds are hyper there is nothing wrong with her she is just hyper by nature
7  The DogChat.co.uk Discussion Forum / Dog Behaviour and Training Issues / 4 year old dog ... new bad behavior on: July 30, 2005, 06:48: PM
your in luck i know what your problem is there are 2 reasons why this is happing. you shouldn't have them in a crate in the first place they get nervous. what you do is you put them in your laundry room with a baby gate. so they can run around. and it is most definaly not a "medical" promblem. There tired of being in there crate every single day. and sounds to me like your paraind. as long as there isn't anything to "jump" down or on you have no problem. i had this same thing happen to me. and one i tried the laundry room it worked.

8  The DogChat.co.uk Discussion Forum / Dog Behaviour and Training Issues / Are Stop-Pull harness humane to dogs???? on: July 30, 2005, 06:41: PM
harness are not as confertable for a dog because there is too much pressure on there chest. if your dog is responding to it in a good way then it is ok. but if your dog refuses to walk and hangs back like my dog did  you should use a normal leash

9  The DogChat.co.uk Discussion Forum / Breed Specific / Which breed is the best my dog? on: June 11, 2005, 07:12: PM
i have a bosten terrier to!! they are so sweet. so if u wanna some one to keep him company i would go with a labrador. my bt stella is bff with a lab named zoes and they get along so well and our other friends have a bt and they bought a lab and the 2 get along so well. its like the perfect match
10  The DogChat.co.uk Discussion Forum / Breed Specific / beagle info needed on: June 11, 2005, 07:07: PM
there is only 2 probs with beagles.... you MUST walk them at lest 2 times a day or they will become so distructeve its not even funny. and also they are born and bred to be hunters i am not kidding. they will follow any possible scent if u want a good dog that is very low matenices i would go for an lundhund or an english or french bull dog the french is probally a better choice cause they are smaller and have a longer nose then the english bull dog and they are nice and calm

12  The DogChat.co.uk Discussion Forum / General Dog Chat / why do people hate dogs so much??? on: June 11, 2005, 06:52: PM
well sometimes people may have had past experiances with dogs that wern't the best in the world. Like they may have gotten bitten but i think that they need to realize that alot of dogs arn't like that. i luv dogs so much i have a bosten terrier who is really hyper and she jumps up to play and she is really small but she jumps high. and so this guy was provocing her and she thought he wanted to play cause she is only 2 years old and he started yelling at me. there are some very crazy peeps in the world

14  The DogChat.co.uk Discussion Forum / Dog Behaviour and Training Issues / My dog is aggressive with his food!!! on: April 27, 2005, 04:57: PM
hi rachel its me. ok fist of all you just need to make sure that you don't feed him around kids because that doesn't ehlp. and you have to show him that it is not a good thing. and make sure that you ease him over to his food. he also may be agressive because he is hungry. feed him little snacks so that he is not as hunrgy.
see ya at school.
