1  The DogChat.co.uk Discussion Forum / Canine Health Concerns / Bad tummy on: July 29, 2006, 07:11: AM
Hi saw you're dog was having the same problem as mine have had, I found that chicken gave both of mine the runs.

They both had bouts of the runs for several weeks, I even had the vet test their poo at a cost of £70+ and the tests came back clear.

I then purchased a breed specific diet book from Mr Cusick and the change was instant, no more runs and really healthy looking coats.

The book cost me $30, which is about £16 and took 4 days to arrive; the recipes were very easy to follow and didn't cost the earth either.

hope this helps

When it comes to toilet training you should NOT use any products that contain bleach to clean areas in your home which your dog has access to, because bleach contains ammonia and the smell will encourage the dog to urinate in these places.

On the subject of yapping Min Pins are well known for being Yappy dogs, this can be curtailed with lot of patience on the owners part, you will need to ignore the yapping and only give the dog attention when he or she is quiet, the dog will eventually realise that yapping is not getting the desired result (your attention)
