MOLLY
Molly is a white and tan Jack Russell X. She was around 3 years old when she came into the kennels as a stray on 24 March 2006. Molly is a very excitable little dog. She tends to bark at dogs, traffic, people anything that moves. She can be a little bit snappy with other dogs and we do not know if she is cat friendly. We think that Molly would be better suited to live with older children rather than young children and that she should be the only dog in the household. Molly is a very lovable little dog and loves to be groomed and has a tendency to lick you if you get too close. With the right owner we think she would make a lovely pet.
GEMMA
Gemma is a German Shepherd dog, she is around 10 years old and came into the kennels as a boarder in March 2006. Unfortunately, her owner never came to fetch her back and we are now anxious to find her a loving home.
We found that Gemma was suffering from dermatitis and in order for this to be treated she has had to have her coat shaved off. Gemma is a very gentle and loving dog. She is vaccinated and gets on well with other dogs. She tends to pull on the lead. Although quite old she is still active and loves to run after a ball in the pen.
We are looking for a very special owner for Gemma who is willing to take her on and give her the love and attention she will need for the rest of her life.
HUGO
Image PendingHugo is black, tan and white Collie x. He's around 3 years old and came into the kennels as a stray on 4 April 2006.
Hugo is a friendly dog and seems to get on well with other dogs at the kennels. He is very strong on the lead and would need to be walked by an adult.
SIDNEY
Sidney is a brown and white wire haired Jack Russell. He's around 7 years old and came into the kennels as a stray on 24 January 2006.
Sidney is a lovable little dog, he is house-trained, friendly with other dogs at the kennels but would be happier if he was the only dog in the household. He walks well on the lead and is okay with cats once he gets to know them. He does have an old injury to his hind leg which he tends to carry after a long walk, but he has been checked out at the vet.
Sidney was re-homed for a month but unfortunately due to him not getting on with young children he was brought back to the kennels, therefore a home with teenage children would suit him better.
Sidney is a smashing little dog and would make a lovely pet.
LOTTIE
Lottie is a black and tan Terrier. She is 3 years and 3 months old (DOB 31/12/03). She originally came from the kennels when she was a puppy but her owner has recently had a baby and Lottie came back to us on 11 April 2006.
Lottie is house-trained, has been spayed and is vaccinated until February 2007. Although she has lived with another dog she would be better re-homed on her own. She is not cat friendly and not suitable to live with small animals. She is fine to be left alone and she travels well.
Lottie has lived with children and is fine in the house with them but when outdoors she turns into a naughty terrier so a home without children would be better for her. She also needs to be walked on a harness on a short lead as she tends to jump up at people and is likely to attack another dog.
We would be looking for an owner for Lottie who has experience of terrier behaviour and for someone who has the time and patience to train her on the lead.
DOMINO
Domino is a Springer Spaniel. He's around 3 years old and came into the kennels as a stray on 11 April 2006.
Domino is a lovely dog. He is very friendly and gets on well with other dogs. He arrived at the kennels with a very bad skin condition and is undergoing treatment at present.
CARLING
Carling is a black and white Jack Russell X. He came into the kennels as a disclaimer on 13 April 2006 because he had growled at their youngest 2 year old child.
Carling is house-trained and is a very friendly, lovable little dog with a character of his own. He gets on well with other dogs but is not cat friendly. He can be left for 2-3 hours with no problems and he travels well.
We would be looking for a home for Carling with someone who has older children. Carling does not like postmen or delivery men - which can be said about many dogs!
