Less chance of the dog straying, fighting, and reduces some cancers. can reduce your insurance too

If the dog is roughish(as in jumps all over you and licks you to your dripping wet Laughing ) does it reduce this?

a court worker has told me to find full breed of him and if his cross(as i know he has bulldog in him) i may be protected by the law:)
sorry but you wont be- pit bull type means just that, any dog that is of pit bull origins.
unfortunately when the law came out, some genuine crosses( 1 that was labxdane springs to mind) with no kind of any bull terrier in their parentage were unfortunately euthanased.
one of my friends had two beautiful staffordshire bull terriers, these were both pedigrees,& she had the Pedigree papers, but because they are long legged & bigger than the sort normally seen in this part of the country she had problems & eventually just walked them muzzled to be on the safe side.

The act bans the breeding and sale or exchange of four kinds of dog - pit bull terriers, Japanese Tosas, the Dogo Argentinos, and the Fila Brasileiros. Cross-breeds of those dogs are covered by the law.

that is all whats on bbc news, i do muzzle him as i think it controls him walking and trying to chew chicken bones i cant argue the fact that he shouldnt be muzzled or on a lead cause any dog should be muzzled and on lead around kids in public places

people around my area (they fight dogs) thought my dog was a long legged staff(i didnt know they had them) in the dark only in the light and summer you see his red nose which can class him as a red nose pitt bull

10  The DogChat.co.uk Discussion Forum / Dog Behaviour and Training Issues / Re: Sleeping on the bed on: January 02, 2007, 08:38: PM
Oh now im not at collage so im there all day and if im out he dont stay in the bedroom(he had a field day in a draw once about 20 o2 sims)
11  The DogChat.co.uk Discussion Forum / Dog Behaviour and Training Issues / Sleeping on the bed on: January 02, 2007, 08:33: PM
I no im at fault with this and i dont know if anyone can help as he is nearly two
When i first got my dog i refused to have him on the bed, during the day when i was at collage my bf would put him on the bed   Mad and they would both sleep
as he got older he would climb up the bed during the night and go sleep
now i want to teach him not to sleep on the bed as he aint so little or light anymore and i can see him breaking one of my bones when he jumps on me, i no i could leave him outside but it is pretty cold at the moment and he dont like rain(maybe because i trained him with water bottle stuff)

I been told to train him with cheese but i cant really see this working as its only good with outside job

any ideas

also my dogs pretty tall(bull dog tallness) i hear crates are good but cant get the right size for him

Thanks

I dont know if red nose means a thing. But you seemed pretty sure that he is a pit.

he looks like he can be bulldog and he has every build as a bulldog
But he has a red nose(red nose pit) thats the only way people think his a pit

To me his just buster he has his own personality my other dogs i had and seen never had his personality
14  The DogChat.co.uk Discussion Forum / Non Dog Related / Re: Budgie question on: January 02, 2007, 08:08: PM
OMG who on earth sold you two boys and a girl????????
They will fight over her. I suggest you seperate them now, otherwise they will kill each other and her too

he(shrek) dont bother the boy(flick) as much as he bothers the girl(honey)

flick keeps him self to himself i had him about 2 months now and shrek keeps hopping on honeys back they just ignore flick

A copper told you that you dont need a certificate..because you dont need a certificate because they are not supposed to be in the country. period.
Yes other dogs can and do bite, I was recently bitted by a Jack Russel. But the point is why have a banned dog? Whether or not you agree with the law, it is the law. That dog could be confiscated and destroyed. Did you know it was a PB when you bought it?

when i paid for him i was told bull dog and staff
9ish weeks he brought buster to my house he had red nose(his father has red nose)
