Hi...I need help with a 6 month old english bulldog. He is toilet trained and goes outside but can be back in the house 5-10 minutes after his walk and pee on the floor and this can be anywhere.

I've tried to read up on this and fear it may be a domanice thing with him as he is trying to hump quite alot at the moment too. It has been happening quite alot in the last week to week and a half and we are totally lost of why he is doing it considering he has been toilet trained since about 12-13 weeks old.

It's always when were in too. Does anyone have any ideas at all?

Yeah we are talking about it but it wont be until March 2008. Were in the middle of selling our house to move to larger property with a bigger garden so it wouldnt be until then.

I love DDB too but just so big for our current house. There is a lad that comes in our local with his DDB and she is lovely. Its a very quiet little pub for locals and very friendly towards dogs coming in. My little Alfie loves her to bits and loves sitting with her.

Bulldogs are the perfect dog if you work full time.

Our bully was very lively when we first got him but from the age of 8 weeks to 4 and a half months old I was with him as saved up alot of holidays for getting him and spent as much time with him as possible.

I found that even when I was in he slept alot during the day and came alive at night, having his mad half hours that to be honest seemed to last all night. This was mainly in the first 4 weeks we had him while he was waiting for his second vacantion and couldn't get out. We put this down to having alot of energy and no way of burning this off.

We were leaving him for short periods of time and then built it up to a few hours before leaving him during the day. He gets a short walk in the morning and a 45 minute one in the evening when I come home. My mother in law comes down to feed him his lunch and take him for a short walk around lunch time each day. 9 times out of 10 he is in basket asleep or on the sofa (His fav place to sleep) when she comes down and same in the evening when we get home. Thing with Bulldog puppies are they need to sleep to grow. Its as vital as the right diet

They are the perfect house dog and he loves nothing more than to cuddle up to you on a night time. Most days because myself and my partner work shifts he is only left for a few hours. For example I started work at 12 lunchtime today and finished at 8. My partner was working from 9-5 so he was only really left between 11 and 6 and my mother in law was down between 12:30 and 1:30.

The bulldogs face can look to strangers as being scarey. Personally I don't understand it as think they are the greatest looking dog and look friendly. i have never met an aggresive one yet.

All they do is sleep  Mr. Green

I have a 5 month old Bulldog Puppy

I'm currently feeding him a mixture of Pedigree Chum for puppies (wet food out of a tin) and some Pedigree Chum for puppies complete.

When we got him from the breeder he was on Science Plan, which he did like but made him contstapated and hard from to pass his poops. The vet suggested wet food and he has been fine since.

What would other people say is the best food for a bulldog puppy?

Hi

I'm a new poster with a bulldog. The main reason I joined this forum was to talk about the breed.

Alfie is 5 months now and is the best thing myself and my partner have done. Were thinking of getting a 2nd bulldog. This time would be a bitch but not for breeding. Alfie is from a good line but he is a pet and don't think we will ever show him.

He is currently weighing in about 3 and a half stone now. What does everyone elses bullies weigh in at the moment?
