When you train your dogs do you train them at certain times of the day? ie: morning or evening or just before meals? or doesn't it make any difference what time it is?
I hope that has made sence

Thats what i am doing using her midday meal as treats during training, sound like you do similar. some times she's a bit hyper so it gets put on hold till she's calmed down

Im training sassy at 6am in the morn before i get ready and go work. Thats before her breakfsst too. Always train on an empty stomach so she will enjoy a treat passing her sense of smell now and then! Then i do some training last thing about 9-9.30 pm before bed time.
I like begining of day as it sets her up for a new day and then reinforce it at the end of the day. I dont for one minute think it matters when you train as they are happy for the personal attention and interaction now matter what time it is.

Mine are all Martini dogs... anytime, anyplace, anywhere Yes, this is what I do. Training isn't just certain parts of the day, it is all day, every day and every time you interact with your dog. This is why you have to be so consistant with them, you are training them.

When we had our last dog, we trained her at nights because that was when the classes were available for.
