I think cherry stones are poisonous, don't they contain arsenic?

Rhubarb leaves are poisonous too.

OMG - I didn't know grapes were bad.  I gave Daisy a few the other day, plus she sometimes has the odd raisin if I drop them on the floor...what is in grapes that are bad?

There's a cherry tree in the street which hangs over my garden, Charlie always manages to find the cherries before I do and he eats all of it including the stone, does anybody know if they are poisonous???

It is not chocolate itself that is poisonous to dogs, it is the theobromine,a naturally occurring compound found in chocolate, tea, coffee and cola.

I always give mine tea once a day,

Aparently cooked mashed potato is good for dogs, but raw potatos arn't.
As for cherry stones i can't find anything on that.

The most useful site I've found on the web is:

http://www.aspca.org/site/PageServer?pagename=pro_apcc_poisonsafe

http://www.aspca.org/site/PageServer?pagename=pro_apcc_toxicplants

http://www.aspca.org/site/PageServer?pagename=pro_apcc_publications

Bit scary, but informative.
