I'm trying to find out about the levels of oestrogen. I know they rise then dip just before ovulation occurs while progesterone rises but can't find whether oestrogen remains low before rising again, or rises if not mated but stays low when mated. I've checked my book of the bitch which seems to indicate it stays low but doesn't say whether this is normal whether pregnant or not!
