Hey guys! I have been recommended Nux Vomica for my dog at a dose of 30x. This is due to her getting overexcited, tireless barking at other dogs, and occasional aggression. Does this sound right? And how often should I give it? Kelly.Xxx

Hi have spoken to my mum, she wanted to ask some questions. Firstly who recommended nux vom? Who recommended the dose level? Nux vom in people tends to be as the name suggests for vomiting, but that doent mean its not right for your situation. Let me know the answers and well get back to you

Pudnbits could you ask your mum what would be best for a very excitable dog. Need something to calm them both. Have tried Bach, Lavendar, and shop bought mixes..

I have a friend studying to be a classical homeopath. Human homeopaths are not allowed to prescribe for animals only a vet may do that

Which Bach remedy did you try? and For how long did you use it for? The Bach essence Vervain can be used on animals that are over-enthusiastic and hyperactive.

Hi kerriebaby after checking what the others said im afraid i can confirm that only a vet homeopath may prescribe to animals. If you want to find out more try putting homeopathic vets into a search engine. If you let me know where you live i might be able to recommend one.Sorry bout that!! Also have tried MANY things as blitz very excitable only found one thing that works so far and that is to COMPLETELY KNACKER her!!!!!!!! Qute hard as from the cross i have a very fast completly tireless dog!!!

I've made suggestions in the past too but since my friend took me on as a patient and I've learnt a bit more I've realised that homeopathic treatment is like conventional drugs it works!! If it works given correctly it can also do harm given incorrectly.
