I am desperately looking for information on a specific lymphoma.  My 5 year old labrador dog has been diagnosed in May with angioplastic lymphoma - T Cell.  He developed swollen scrotum in May which was diagnosed as a testicular torsion and he underwent an emergency castration.  I was concerned about the swelling and appearance of his scrotum and took him back and under explorative surgery they found tumour which was found to be this lymphoma.
I have been told that this type of tumour does not respond to treatment and the prognosis is poor.  I can accept this but can find or have not received any information as to what will happen to Jasper as the disease progresses.  What should I look for, should I continue to give him long walks or take it easy.  He had had no lymph nodes palpable and although may seem a little more tired, is doing fairly well.
The vet told me it was a rare aggressive tumour and I have found no information on that type of lymphoma on the net - anyone know of any resources.
Thanks for your help, I hope I can learn a bit more about his condition and what to expect and an idea of how long I have left with Jasper.

My darling Jasper died on October the 10th - he had 18 good months where should no signs of the disease and was by all accounts in remission.  We came home to find him sick and listless and took him straight to the vet who thought he had been poisoned due to the sudden onset of the symptoms.  We eventually took him to the hospital and despite doing all they could, Jasper died only 3 hours later.  He was a beautiful and loving dog and I will miss him dreadfully.

So sorry to hear that!!!!
Hope your last 18 months with him were wonderful!

Did you find out more information about what to expect as this disease progressed?
In my opinion vets should be able to talk us through these things, after all they are the ones in the know!
