Ok, let's see if I can do this....

That should be Rupert if it works.  He's a 3 and a half year old cross breed.  He was listed in the shelter as a Wolfhound mix but looks more like a Pointer mix to me and to a lot of other people.  It was love at first sight and I adopted him after a trial period of 2 weeks since I lived in a flat and he was an excessive barker in the shelter.
And just because I can (or can if it works) here's one of him being his odd self.

Tons more pics of him and my previous two (and a couple of next doors pup) here in case the pics don't work.

Looks like a Large Munsterlander/Black Lab. to me  Can't see the Wolfhound in it at all!

I don't see Wolfhound in him either but I've had a lot of people on the street ask if he's one.  He's just a scruffy mutt to me though  Very Happy

We have a 12 month old Norwegian Elkhound, called Shadow. We have not met any other owners (exept the breeders in Leicester where he came from) so if there are any more out there, I would love to compare notes!!

As far as we can tell our dog is a cross between an Irish Wolfhound and a Border Collie. Whilst he has the markings of a Border Collie he certainly doesn't resemble them in any other way. Rolling Eyes It's more like he's 3/4 Wolfhound and 1/4 Collie.

Here's some photos of him:

Photos 1-4 are from when he was a pup (1 - 2 months old). Number 5 he was a bit older, 3, maybe 4 months? I'll have to find a recent photo of him, he's a "little" (haha) bit bigger now!

Can't wait to see your pics. The way to add images is to press reply rather than use the quick reply function. You then have a little button that allows you to add images which are already online or you can attach an image to your post that is already located on your computer. You could also create a free online gallery of your dogs at www.k9magazine.com/pictures-of-dogs if you wanted to. Hope that helps.

The other trick to add images, if you're using quick reply, or just trying to be fast is to use the tags.

Tags on boards are enclosed in square brackets [ ] - the start with the tag itself, and end with /tag.

So, (not using square brackets for this demo, as the board'll think it's a tag), to insert an image I'd do this (but with square brackets)

(img)http://whereeverIgotmyimagefrom.com/coolimage.jpg(/img)

And here is a real image using that method:

That was done like this:
(img)http://www.komondor.org/assets/images/Jago2A.gif(/img)

Hope that helps!

You can do that with all the tags your menu items insert - and with the smileys too.

So if I want to do a website link - linking the word, instead of showing the whole link, I can do that with the (url) tag.

So if I want to link to my review of Komondors (a safer review to link to, methinks, than the one that has been linked here LOL - and by the way, I can do a laughing smiley by using the colon and then lol - : lol : (without the spaces) - so Laughing ) without showing the whole link, I'd do it like this:

(url=http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/pets-and-animals/komondor/1012733/)This is the review what I writ(/url).

If I used square quotes, it would look like this:
This is the review what I writ.

By the way, this very site is available to review on Dooyoo...so if you want to beat me to a review, feel free!

http://members.dooyoo.co.uk/internet-sites/dogchat-co-uk/ (substitute www for members if you're not a member - it may take a day or two for the topic to show up for non-members.

Cheers!

LOL.  That's quite a famous picture, as I believe it became an album cover for Beck (I think).

That's a Komondor, in case you didn't know Laughing
