Hmmmm it's a tricky one and depends a little on what kind of character you want, personally I would not touch a nervous pup with a bargepole (been there done that, too much heartache Sad ) ,pups should be inquisitive and cheeky, but I wouldn't want the bolshy bully pup either, somewhere in the middle

Don't get the very scared pup, but don't be overwhelmed by the one that rushes towards you and starts licking you either. It's very to be faced by all those pairs of eyes and wagging tails, but take your time. Smile

Don't pick the one that goes charging up to you. This puppy could be too active and dominant, possibly aggressive (sp?). However, the puppy that hides behind its mother is no better. That pup could be to shy. So just try and find a neutral one. Also, consider your lifestyle. Are you very active or quiet? Your pup's personality should match your lifestyle. Any reputable breeder will ask you about your life to help you choose which puppy is best for you. The breeder's been with them since, birth, after all. Smile
