I must say that I like the program! At least she doesn`t beat around the bush!
Shame it`s only on for 30 minutes and doesn`t realy say how much time actually went into training the dogs and their owners!

I'll be watching it, but im not sure how she would cope with a  really unruly dog .Also the programmers make it look all  too easy as if she's tamed the dog in half an hour.  And most of the time its not the dogs fault but the stupid owners. How many times in the last series did we see owners who never excercised the dogs.

I love that programme. I used her methods to stop Buster jumping up at everyone and he was sorted in a week.

This series I'm hoping to crack his crying when my daughter gets home from school. The poor little thing is so excited to see her he doesn't know what to do with himself.

That poor dog. To start with I can't believe an owner who says he loves his dog so much would consider a choke chain. No wonder the poor little think doesn't like walkies.
We had Buster neutered and it has made a big difference. He's less agitated and very sociable with other male dogs now. Husband winced but as he's already "been done" he could sympathise.
The diet for that bulldog was beyond belief, they really were killing him with kindness. Lets hope things improve for him now.

The thing with that programme though... anyone could make that dog behave better. Well, any responsible, knowledgable dog owner - the owners are always so cluless that the simplest things make all the difference. I mean, I'm no dog trainer but I could have told them to do what she did. I get really annoyed about the whole "Castrate my dog, castrate me" thing. How stupid.

I still like watching it though.  Cool  Cool

I haven`t yet seen it - has been taped.

In a lot of cases it is the owner(s) causing the problems! (Dogs will be dogs.)
Having been involved professionally with dogs and their owners for the last 10 years the lack of even the most basic knowledge never seizes to amaze me.

For as far as the neutering goes; if people can`t be responsible enough to teach their dog even the most basic things, how can they be expected to handle an entire dog? So I believe that neutering in these cases are very important to at least prevent accidental litters through ignorance if nothing else.
There are enough unwanted dogs as it is.

I think bad dog behaviour is down to owners, very much like parents with horrible kids.

the woman  behaviourist is made out to be wonder woman , when really the dog wasnt  the problem so much as the owners . An excerised  and socialized dog would never have acted like that. Crying or Very sad  He was a lovely dog that had been ruined.
