Wondering if anyone else does agility? Me and Connie go to training every week, and now she has the weaves mastered we'll probably be entring our first competitions in the summer! Here are some picture of us practising on the jumps we set up in the garden... mostly from chairs and stuff.... There's a lot, sorry.   Double jump  Tyre  Regular jump - she prefers to jump much higher, but the chairs only go so high!  Tunnel And some long jumping   Of course Wilbur doesn't like to be left out, but what you don't realise is that it took 6 tries, and a lump of cheese before he went over the jump rather than through, under or around. He's just too smart. But now with his hips I don't jump him anymore. Anyway, if you do agility post some photos please! Rachel |

Aww wow those are great - I really wish I could do agilty - I don't have a car and i dan't know any places to go - so I just can't right now - my dogs can do pole jumps/tyres and ramps tho already I have a couple of really crap pictures from inside the house - lol this is our DIY agilty!  My bc does it too but she's not as good as gyp - the jumps are low because thats as high as the chairs will go! |

Nice photos - Gyp seems to be really enjoying it! It's a shame you can't get to any classes, cause it looks like your dog would be a natural!  I suppose if you really wanted to do it you can but equipment for relatively cheap online - I got weaves, a tyre and a long jump for about £20 each which are the ones you can see in the picture since I couldn't make those myself out of stuff I found around the house. |

Can you dismantle them and put them away when your not using them? my parents would flip if i "cluttered" the garden with agilty stuff |

Lassie, if we go wrong on a course, it's always becuase of me! yep you can dismantle them, but if you take them apart completely they take a while to put back together... but they do fold flat so you can store them in the garage or somewhere.  My parents have to put up with a lot for my dogs.... |

Hi Rachelpirate. (hope thats spelt right!)
Can you tell me where you got your equipment from? My dog, Katie, and I go to agility every week but Id love to be able to practise at home. She needs to realise im the one who decides the course not her! She gets so excited she bombs off and does the aparatus in the order she wants regardless of me and where I am. She does all the equipment well and is a natural just at her own discression and bl**dy fast so i have no say!
Practising at home would be such a help.
