First off i don't excercise my dog alot, she's big and 15 years old. A chocolate lab pittbull cross.

A few weeks ago and before a few weeks ago my dog ALWAYS dragged me on walks and last few weeks i been slacking on giving her her nighttime walks she loves. Now today and yesterday i am always dragging her around and she's walking really slow  and i'm taking her on LONG walks, and if i never gave her her 2 bones today and some human food yesterday she hasn't ate in 2 days. She has an appointment with the vets on Wednesday and i think it's her time up. I don't want her to suffer...if i could choose between putting her down so she wont suffer (not sure if she is..she doesn't seem like it), or keeping her alive making her suffer because i can't let go i'll put her down because i have a heart and that's the last thing i want her to do is suffer. Yesterday she could not make it up the stairs in the morning but later on and today she could run up the stairs and rush down. I'm going to make sure with the vet if there is a way to make her pain go away without killing her, i'm so scared..she means the world to me! all today i been crying..at work, out of work, when i been around her and last few days i been telling her how much i love her alot more then usual. Today she was running up the stairs and down and rolling around on her back and moving around begging for human food (she just doesn't want her food..only human food), she has her good days and her bad days but i'm more scared now then i have ever been....

I'm sorry to hear your girl is not feeling her best Doggydog, but hopefully the vet will have good news.

She could just be finally feeling her age!!

Or she could just have an upset tum, putting her off her food and making her feel yucky or perhaps arthritis making movement painful (which can be treated) or something else non life threatening.  It may not be as serious as you fear, and my fingers are crossed for you and your girl at her appointment on Wednesday.

Hugs to you both for whatever the outcome is.

Thank you, my fingers will be crossed too. My dad says he doubt she will be put down because how she was acting last night but i still fear it. if not on Wednesday then someday. She's my first dog and after she's gone i don't want another dog because it wont be her! and i would feel like she's replacable and she's not and later down the road that dog will die and i'll be really attached again and go through this all over again. I've known ALOT of death over my 22 years of living but this will be the hardest death i've ever had to go through, and i don't think i will recover over it. But knowing she will be happy wherever she goes (if you go anywhere when you die) then i'll be happy knowing she's happy.

Got new food for my dog (she's been eating the same stuff for years now) and she ate it all up right away. Today was day 3 of ehr not wanting her own food. Also,  she was walking fine again and moving around the house good and is breathing good again. This is good news but i'm still crossing my fingers, she may be just trying to hold on as much as she can.

Went to the vets today and he checked her out and said she's remarkable..a 15 year old and she's moving around like a 10 year old and if she is alive untill 16 she will be the oldest lab he's ever worked with.

you should be proud of yourself for the good work you have put into your dog.
