I've just seen some more spam under the feline section of the forum, under the sticky topic of Halloween and Fireworks, the person is showing as 'guest'.

Can someone delete it please.

There is also another spam post about computers I think under "Complimentary and alternative therapies" section.

I have also noticed that there is very little moderator activity on this forum, to keep an eye on things.

Most other forums have moderators that are fairly visible on the boards, and spot these problems before we do.

Thanks

No, I haven't emailed but they've seen this post so have removed the offensive ones.  I'll just use this post to put down what I see, instead of having to email every time, hope that's ok with everyone.

Why is it that we keep getting spam on here? Really annoys me! What do we do when we find it? I just replied and politely told them to get lost. Is that the correct form of action?

You are talking to yourself. It is automated.

I think animal testing is a terrible idea. They get all nervous and then they give the wrong answers.

the best form of action is to re-programming the sign up method then use regular expressions to remove URLs in posts from members whos post count is less than a certain number.
