That is funny! The first night we got our dog he layed himself on out laps and started to look at the tv. I think it was new to him for he was kenneled and almost never inside at his old home. So it was all new, and he pushed his way on our lap and stared at the tv, like you said, ears all perked up! And he was watching a fairley bad movie all the same!! It was also VERY funny!

Generally my 2 ignore the tv unless there is something white on it and then they willgo near the screen & just stare at it, or do a little 'wuff' and then look at us, then back at the tv!! Oh and if they hear a dog bark on tv they run to the window & look out trying to find the barking dog !!

My rottie loves watching anything with animal images or sounds on it... the only problem is he doesnt sit nicely with us to watch it - he rushes up to the tv and stands right in front of it following the animals and drooling all over the screen! he'll lie down when i tell him but then as soon as there's another animal on he's up again with his nose about 1cm away from the screen!
it is hilarious! but it can be a bit annoying when there's something good on that i'm trying to watch!!!

Lucy usually ignores TV, but one day I put on the video of a gundog training course that we had been on and she went completely mental. I'm going to put a guard round the TV before I play back a flyball video!
