OH and I have decided that we are going to go to Isle of Wight for Valentines. Its our first together, and we havent half been through some poo to get here.
So I am hunting for somewhere not too expensive that will allow my two, is available for the weekend after valentines and is near the beach..can anyone recommend anything?

All of the Isle of Wight is by the beach.  Very Happy

Haven't been there for years but the south side is nicer.

I think animal testing is a terrible idea. They get all nervous and then they give the wrong answers.

Well it's only about 12 miles wide I think so you're never very far from the coast. Smile

Oh dear. That's pants.

Reminds me about when we went away for a weekend a few years ago. Left the kids (adult kids) in charge of the house and dogs.  OH was judging at an agility show in Cornwall on the Sunday and we decided to set off on Friday evening, get a B&B halfway and have a nice leisurely Saturday.

We stopped for petrol at the motorway services just one junction from home and as there was a travel lodge there thought perhaps it would be safer to try and book a travel lodge and phone ahead. All the travel lodges between us and Cornwall were fully booked and the one we were stopped at had one vacancy so we ended up staying there, at the motorway services just up the road from home.  Rolling Eyes

KB - you could always book a cottage somewhere in the hampshire forest for the weekend and get the ferry over to the IoW on one of the days for a day trip. The forest is gorgeous and would be great for a walk with the dogs on the other day. (not sure how much it will cost but there should be somewhere reasonable)
