Both of my dogs, a greyhound and a deerhound cross have always had pretty sparce fur under their bellies and lower chests. Recently this has become worse and they both have what looks like acne on the bits that touch the floor when they lie down. Any ideas anyone?

This could be a number of things causing the skin problems... It could be their diet, stress, an allergie to your soap powder when you wash their beds... really a number of things. Best take a wee trip into the vet so they can have a look. It could also be contagious if they both have it and if not treated may get worse. Good luck Smile
