Hello everyone, I just went outside to play with my dogs, and I noticed something strange with my Rottweiler, it was her left eye, it seemed to be rolled up into the back of her head, now I am not sure if this is an infection or something else. I have already set an appointment with the vet tomorrow, but not knowing whats going on is killing me.  So any advice on the topic would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear this...I have no experience of this, but hope it isn't too bad and that if it is an infection, antibiotics will clear this up very quickly!

she looks lovely by the way.

Hope she gets better soon.

My Rotties has an infection at the moment, and his eye rolled into the back of his head the other night before I took him to the vets.

Could it be something with the breed? Just a thought.

Am not really sure what you mean by rolled up and my eyesight is crap so cannot tell from the piccie, could it be something in his eye, or the hairs brushing in, signs of entropion? How often do you wash his eyes? Go and see your vet but i would also clean his eyes out at least once a day with boiled water and just keep an eye.

Sorry I did not mention that the picture I had posted didnt show what she was going through, but I have been looking on-line all night and I think it might be Enophthalmos, or something called Horner's Syndrome I am not sure, but from the pictures I have seen what my dog has is very similar.

This is what a cat looks like with Horners' and it looks exactly like what my dog has

That is what my Rottweiler looks like at the moment, shes actually at the vet right now with my father. So I will know for certain very soon.

Well we found out what it was, it turns out she has an ulcer, either by her eye or on it, its from the constant rubbing of her eyelashes.

Thanks everyone for your support, it meant a lot to me!

HAHA okay, well here is a pick of my dogs

The dog on the left is Angel, unfortunately she passed away, she was a great dog, smartest I had ever seen, shes greatly missed.

Of coarse the dog in the middle is Cleo, Shes the one who is sick at the moment, and is the most loyal and loving dog I have ever had.

Lastly on the right is Rosco, a retired drug sniffing dog, who was retired early because his focus was more on wanting to play rather than search for paraphernalia, but hes a sweety.
