Morning Folks

Our seven year old Flatcoat Retriever has always had a bit of a sensitive stomach and often bought his food up.  At about two years old we changed to Wellbeloved and soaked the food for about ten mins. before serving. This got rid of the problem other than on very rare occasions. He is now fed twice a day, small breakfast and then dinner at about 4 pm and is starting to be sick again soon after his dinner ~ about twice in the last week. He is fit alert and well. About 7 stone but slim. Any thoughts please?

Hi there Mike,

I too have a dog who is prone to bouts of sickness for no obvious reason. Fortunately she is not thin. I always noticed that anything warm could make her sick and if she ate her food very cold (colder than room temp) she wouldn't be sick. You could try it and see how it goes by putting his food in the fridge for a few minutes just before giving him his food. Sounds odd but it did work for me.
