I have a ruby and I think she is a little bit neurotic.

Mine's a ruby called Zack, and he's a sweetheart. Sharp as a pin, and cheeky too, but then what did I expect from a ruby lol. Only ones worse are black and tans (I'm having one of those next)!
That second photo was my Christmas card this year.

The farm where I lived had a blenim female who was lovely, total changed my opinion of these little troupers. For a gentile looking lap dog, they are very much a spaniel, and very energetic. And as I am such a hound lover, this is high praise indeed.

How old is that black and tan? He looks like a very similar size to my fully grown ruby.

Zack's first photo looks so much like my Aoife. Always catches me out when I see another solid ruby as there isn't that much to tell them apart.

I guess I should post photos of my little madam.

She's not very good looking for a CKCS, I must admit. Not like my old boy.

Differences between them personality wise - he was a clown, ran around all the time, would be very quick to realise when a hug was required, very sneaky. She's not like him much. Very very needy of companionship (won't let me go for a **** most days without accompanying me :D), actually shows some interest in pleasing her owner, very quick (compared to him) to pick up on things, has an off switch but when that switch is on will go on & on & on, loves nothing more than cuddling up under my arm.

My old dog was a CKCS X, black and tan, I will try and scan in a pic of her.

She was a smart lass, but a right loony tune when she realised she was going for "walkies!".
