my dog's left eye seems too be slightly swollen and some yellow puss is continually coming out since yesterday, getting worse today. she doesn't to be very bothered by it tho... any suggestions about how to get rid of it with home treatment?

I agree VET. You can never be too careful with eyes and the discharge could be a symptom of other things like a foreign body in the eye, entropion or similar or the equivalent of a cold etc.... definitely worth a Vet check for peace of mind ;)

sure, vet, but it's sunday today-will have to wait 'til tomorrow. thought of putting human eye tear drops for now.

If you really can't get to vet today i would bathe in cooled, boiled water with a bit of salt.

strong black tea can help. the tannins are anti inflamatory and contain anti microbial properties. the herb eyebright is good as well
