Eating Cat poo

Hi,
I'm having a great time with my new dog. However, when we go out on a walk she searches like mad for cat poo and eats it! She will drop bones or any other objects she picks up while out, but cat poo turns her in to a demon! She will not drop it nor will she let you scoop it out her mouth. Even on the leash she runs round and round in circles until shes finished eating it. Where I live there are a lot of wild cats so it is impossible to walk somewhere where there isn't any cat poo. What can I do?????????

When I incinerate the cat litter my dogs think "Oooh, a barbeque" :shock:
Seriously though, lots of animals eat dung and in moderation I'm sure it'll do no harm. The more you try to prevent it the more she'll want to do it. You could encourage her to play a good fun game with you to take her mind off of it and take some tasty sausage and throw bits of that on the ground for her to scavenge for.
