Lhaso Apso Breeders

Hi All

I have friends who are after buying a Lhaso Apso - does anyone know of any breeders they could recommend?

2 sites i have used to find breeders are:

and the other is

www.dogs4us.co.uk

this second 1 is a place in Pendlebury, West Manchester so just go on the wbsite and it tells you all the breeds that they get in from their breeders

Do NOT buy a puppy from the Dogs 4 Us store. My parents bought one there once & it died two days later - they don't watch the puppies for illnesses & illnesses can spread pretty rapidly in kennel environments!

hi there are often lhasa apso's in ad mag, i no this may not be desirable to some but you often get good stock with good papers and dogs are reared well in family environment. i have a lhasa he is excessively grumpy stubborn and very hard to control and tame, this is the usually the case with all lhasa's i have met from my family and friends, if the person looking for a lhasa is inexperienced in dogs you could also recommend a shitszu as they are generally better natured and easier to train. (not that i am getting at lhasa's, as i said i have one.) ;)

We got our Lhasa from a breeder in Chipping Norton and he is the most loveable, laidback, lazy and happy little dog and would recommend anyone to get one. Although he does have his own personality and is a bit like a toddler and most men at times - selective hearing! We found him on the Kennel Clubs website. Now I can put piccies on here I have put one of him on with one of our other dogs and my daughter - Now you have to agree that is one laid back dog!
