Default Collie found - possibly lost or stolen

Cross-posted from an email list -

At Valgrays Border Collie Rescue we have a border collie bitch, black and white. She was picked up as a 'stray' in Thornton Heath, nr. Croydon some time ago. We think she has been lost or stolen; may be not recently stolen - may be a year or even 2 years back? She is not your average stray ...
reason:

She seems to have been obedience trained. She may well have come from another area, county, country..... her level obedience is:

She retrieves, loves balls and toys, she recalls, she presents, does distance control (sit, down and if you say 'ready' she stands - she doesn't even seem to come forward during this!) and her response
is quick. She does the german and english finish.

Do you know anyone who may have lost this collie - even ages ago - from a show, home, walk? Anyone at dog training clubs, pet clubs lost a dog - anyone been on holiday who may not know this dog is yet missing? There is nothing on doglost.

We do have other distinctive things she has and only the owner will know these?

Would be lovely to reunite this collie girl........ . so please cross post, tell everyone.

Shirley
