About 5 days a week it makes up about 10% of daily meat, so no. I am careful to stipulate that amount of liver in the minced off cuts I buy. The butchers are excellent and I can see if there is too much in there and feed less frequently. I reckon its close to proportions if animals were killing their own food (close but not perfect).

I was told ( when I did my research ) that Liver should only be fed in teeny amounts, and no more than 2 x per week, because of the high vit a levels.

May be a good question to ask raw feeders as if the dogs were catching the equivalent of a rabbit every day they would eat about the same amount as I feed. Perhaps someone feeding raw prey model could help.

My meat mix is very rich so they only get a heaped Tbs per day (5 days on, 2 off): from my research , I feel this amount is safe
