There's an informal rule on the Net. Anytime someone mentions Hitler in a discussion that has nothing to do with him, they lose! LMAO.

"As a Usenet discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one." "Whoever mentions Nazis or Hitler first, automatically loses the argument." Venerable Usenet rule. [Emphasis added] HERE.

See "Step 2" CLICK HERE "lame-a$$ low blow."

"I have a general rule – whoever brings up Hitler in an argument automatically loses. It’s also a pretty good indication that the Hitler user has a weak argument. It’s generally a cheap shot. It’s lazy and it almost always backfires. " CLICK HERE.

This particular reference is specific to political discussions, but the rule holds. "An argument devoid of intelligence.
Yes, it was Hitler who killed reasonable political discussion in America—or, more accurately, stupid people using his name to try and validate their poorly thought-out arguments. It is the knee-jerk reaction from people too stupid to articulate valid reasoning. It immediately shows how ignorant someone is. Once we hear someone refer to any aspect of modern American government as being akin to Hitler or the Nazi party, then we should be certain that they’re clueless, bullet-point spouting idiots who don’t care about civilized discourse." [Emphasis added]
HERE.

But the few people (even giving the numbers behind the organizations) who oppose what he says are right? ROFLMAO. But as usual, you're wrong. I was merely showing that there are millions of contrary opinions. Comparing this discussion to one about Hitler is about as stupid as it gets.

Anything to say that's ON TOPIC?

LD there's NOT ONE WORD about the topic in either of your posts. Tell me again please, which one of us, is "simply here for an argument?"

I'm sorry that you know so little about the medium of communication that we're on; but now you've been schooled.

So far we have absolutely no contribution to the discussion about CM from you. As you often do, you make an attack on my argument, rather than contribute to the discussion. Talk about predictability! ROFL.

I love how you talk about me "aim[ing] to win rather than to seek the truth." and then spend so much time in arguing about arguing. NOT ONE WORD from you about what you call "the truth" regarding CM. In reality, there is no "truth" here. There is only opinion.

CM is so open about what he does that he has a television show on a highly respected network. Only a statistically insignificant number of people (compared to those who disagree) share the opinion that what he does is "dangerous, cruel or abusive."

People who refer to the disclaimer (to the effect) "Don't try this at home" as evidence that what is depicted on his show is "dangerous" are probably the same ones who need a warning not to use their hair dryers in the shower or require a warning to use care when operating machinery on medication meant for a dog.

One of your more ludicrous analogies LD. The roundness or flatness of the earth is not a matter of opinion. Whether or not CM, as has been alleged, is "dangerous, cruel or abusive" is and will always be a matter of opinion.

And again I'll ask, anything to say about the topic?

There's no debate LD. There are simply people stating their opinions. Minds are made up. No one will be swayed. You lose your mind when I do it but find it perfectly acceptable for others.

No need to thank me for educating you regarding your rather complete ignorance of Godwin's law. LOL.

AND STILL not a word from you about the topic. Just ANOTHER statement about the argument. Priceless AND predictable!
