BBC did a great article nearly 2 years ago now explaining that there is nor difference between falling over when your dog greets you enthusiastically and needing treatment and being bitten by a chihuahua secreted in someones handbag when attempting to steal a purse as far as statistics go they are now all classed as dog attack injuries.
