Default Breed spotlight idea?

I have seen this work well on another site, and wondered if we could do it here. Having seen the amazing list of breeds we have here, many I know so little about (eurasier, Estrela mountain dog, longdog, inuit, to name a few). Could we pick a breed and then people who know about that breed could post their impressions and good/bad points about the breed? Then when that thread's waning we could pick another breed?

That is a good idea, which breed should we start with, or should we start alphabetically? We could include types of crosses as well, like mine, labradoodles and such

Alphabetically might mean we miss some. Just someone pick a breed they feel they can write about and go for it I reckon.

Why not just start at the top of our list and work down there's sure to be some facts about even popular breeds that folks don't know about

American bulldog is first on the list. We need BBC and NTM to field that I think.

Something like this was done before for something Ryan was doing I think. I did a collie one... Where are you thinking of putting it? I can dig out the collie one if you want?
