How far will you go?
How far will you go to rescue your dog if it got into difficulty?
I started to think about this after what has happened with the dogs dying in the car.
Also about the 2 people who jumped into a river to save their dogs, the bloke died, the woman i can't remember what happened but i know they had at least one child....But the dogs managed to get out down stream.
I don't know how far i would go or if i would put my life at risk for Skip, I love him so much but i just don't know....
What about you? How far will you go?

I think it is one of those questions that we will all hopefully never know the answer to.
It is always very difficult to predict how you will react in a given situation until the need arises.

it is a toughie I suppose only hyperthetical answer I could give would be to go as far as I thought was safe at the time but would hate to be placed in such a position

Agree with above. I would like to think i would be sensible andnot put my life in danger but in reality would I too jump in a river to save Clio? Probably.

you cannot really say as when the moment comes it is normally out of instinct not thought, if you think about it it would always be dependant on the danger vs the outcome, i love my dog no doubt about it, but do i love him enough to leave my son motherless no way in hell.

It's easy in the cold light of day to remember (as first aiders are taught) to assess the danger to yourself and not become part of the problem, rather than the solution. However, in the heat of the moment, would I risk my own life to save my dogs? I suspect I probably would.

I wouldn't knowingly risk my life for my dogs, no.
