Natural Instinct Extols Benefits of Wheatgrass in New Dog Food Range

Posted December 8, 2010 by in News | Comments Off

Wheatgrass helps to aid digestion in new Country Banquet range by Natural Instinct

Leading BARF diet specialists, Natural Instinct have introduced new premium range to their successful raw food recipes for dogs called Country Banquet.  As well as containing all human grade ingredients such as lamb, turkey, duck or chicken, they have includes apples, carrots and butternut squash as in their Natural Instinct range, but then added spirulina, bilberries, barley oat grass, wheatgrass, kelp and Scottish salmon oil.

According to David Brock and Michael McVay, Co-founders of Natural Instinct, the range was developed with their own new puppy in mind, (a Rhodesian Ridgeback) with a view to producing the best raw food a dog could wish for, whilst also mimicking the fact that dogs often eat grasses – because this is a natural aid to digestion as well as being nutritious, moist and tender.  In fact, the clinical trials for wheatgrass for human use was carried out on canines so the benefits for dogs are well researched.

David said,

“We have had fantastic results using this food on dogs with various allergies, and the ingredients are well known "super foods" containing many antioxidents and vitamins.”

For further information about this new range or to find your nearest stockist, visit Natural Instinct’s website at www.naturalinstinct.com . Also look out for Natural Instinct at this year’s Crufts where they will be promoting the new range.

Country Banquet makes use of Natural Instinct’s new flat tray packaging which takes up less space in the freezer than the foil pouches.
