Procter & Gamble's Swiffer® brand is sponsoring Macy's Union Square 24th Annual Holiday Pet Adoption Windows in an effort to help local dogs and cats find loving homes just in time for the holidays. This marks the first year that Swiffer will be the premier sponsor of the Macy's Holiday Pet Adoption Windows, which runs from November 19 through January 2.

Swiffer spokesperson and renowned dog behavior specialist, Cesar Millan, will be on-hand to assist with the pet adoption and offer new pet owners tips on how to create a pet-friendly environment in their home this holiday season. On Macy's Family Fun Day on December 11, consumers will have an opportunity to meet Cesar Millan, purchase his new book, Cesar's Rules: Your Way to Train a Well Behaved Dog, and get one-on-one tips on how to care for your pets this holiday season.

"I am a long time advocate for shelter animals and am excited to be working with Swiffer and Macy's for such a worthwhile cause," said Cesar Millan.  "I understand the challenges owners face when bringing home a new pet. Together, we'll be able to help adopt animals in need and at the same time, give pet owners tips and tools to make the home a happy and balanced environment for their new pet."

During the six weeks that the Holiday Pet Adoption Windows will run at Macy's, consumers will be able to adopt a medically screened, vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered cat or dog on site. Each new adoption comes with Cesar's tips for becoming the pack leader from day one and creating a pet-friendly, balanced environment in the home this holiday season.
